Death, also known as Lobo, or simply The Wolf, is the overarching antagonist of DreamWorks' 43rd full-length animated feature film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, a spin-off of the Shrek franchise and the sequel to both Puss in Boots and Shrek Forever After.

Death, also referred to as the Wolf or Lobo, is the physical embodiment of death, who takes the form of a white wolf in a black poncho. He is intent on killing the legendary Puss in Boots once and for all, as punishment for carelessly wasting eight of his nine lives.

To create a deathwolf, a necromancer reanimates the body of a powerful werewolf by conducting a profane ritual fueled by lunar magic. The result is an Undead abomination that resembles a skeletal, shadowy werewolf in hybrid form. Deathwolves can't shapeshift, but they can create dangerous illusions.
