Jan 11, 2023 · If you want a modern-day DDR experience, go for DDR Grand Prix for (Windows) PC. It's not a bad game, but playing this game does come with a price, literally and figuratively. For starters, if you want to play as if you're playing the original arcade version, you can do so by buying "tickets". However, some features will be missing.

the best game to use with flat screen (LCD would be ideal) is the wii's Dance Dance Revolution II. it was the last console release with the LCD panels in mind when it was released. the main song group was a mix of DDR X2/DDR X3. I want to get a dance pad for my PC and start playing again, but I was wondering if DDR games can be emulated or if there are only specific ones available on PC. Thanks in advance!

Former DDR player here. Spent my teen years basically living on a DDR mat. Now in my mid 30s and can only reminisce of my old PlayStation and the DDR mat I saved up for. I’m a new parent and thought of DDR as a great home workout I can do while not leaving my newborn. I’m out of the loop now and without equipment.

Supernova: This is a great 1st DDR game! Doesn't completely follow the Arcade or Japanese version but it still has a decent and fitting song list. Also a fun mission mode where you complete objectives and then play a set of "mini games" or songs with modifiers (always enjoy those)!

Mar 30, 2020 · DDR X had a botched release. Only Asia got decent arcade machines. DDR Extreme was great, but also bootlegged ad nauseam. It's hit or miss whether a location properly maintained its machine. Only a handful of locations in Canada accepted PS1 memory cards. DDR X2 is rare in Canada, but the Funhaven arcade maintains it well. DDR Solo was underrated.

Jul 14, 2019 · DDR X because of the introduction of the new announcer. Tbh, I've never liked the obnoxious crowd_cheering.mp3 and announcer every 20 arrows over the music. Sure, these were in the game prior to X but they felt less frequent and intrusive. Sometimes I find myself struggling to keep on beat because the song is drowned out by other sounds.

Jan 4, 2021 · DDR A. If you get a DDR SD red cabinet it has all you need to run anything from 573 versions, to Python 2(Supernova/2) and DDR A. It will come with the hardware for DDR A. The others are easily picked up for cheap.
