Dec 14, 2019 · Hey, I just got a 1070 and wanted to try running DayZ in 4K with supersampling. I tried setting the render resolution to 200% in CoD MW and it worked fine and DayZ is a game I'd like to try to run in 4k for more clarity.

Oct 14, 2022 · I'm using rtx 3080 rog strix 12gb oc, on a ryzen 5 3600x with 64gb of ram, I play in 4k and have it usually vsynced capping it at a clean 60 fps. But it can get close to 90 fps without vsync. It does vary depending on location but the lowest it goes is 55fps.

Aug 20, 2022 · 4k is pretty hard to run, and 1440p@32in is still sharper than 1080p@24in, not by much but it is sharper. For FPS games refresh rate > resolution, so 1440p170hz will be just fine and in my opinion the best of both worlds (high res, high refresh rate). I'd go with the 170hz, but I think I would rather shop around and get a 240hz. Don’t go 4K.

Jan 23, 2022 · Someone said that the "extreme" graphics settings should only be used for 4k monitors. For example, they're saying the "Object Detail", "Terrain Detail", "Texture Detail", etc. are all 4k textures when on extreme. So basically it's useless to have extreme settings for a 1440p monitor. Is this true?

Jul 1, 2016 · playing in Ultra on 4k with stable 60FPS (locked) it runs pretty well. That was the worst area in cherno, but the lowest it got was 29 fps for a fraction of a second, otherwise it was teetering between 53-60. Done with an intel 6700k and a gtx 980ti.
