Jan 15, 2024 · KSP said the suspect, David Gex, 51, of Vine Grove, called 911 and told dispatchers that he had shot the victim, Richard Hernandez, 59, of Irvington. Gex told investigators the shooting happened after the men got into an argument. Hernandez died before medical help could arrive.
