Apr 26, 2023 · With the current Dark Bow, you can make the damage register on the same tick, but you need to be a specific number of tiles away, which you can’t always control. IMO, that’s what makes it balanced. The previous iteration of the Dark Bow (i) with 45% spec and +10 Ranged was good enough. Being able to throw two axes after a spec is huge.

Aug 23, 2021 · The dark bow has a max hit of 29 and fires 2 arrows every 8 ticks while the msb has a max hit af 12 every 3 ticks. The msb has 4 max hits/tick while the dark bow has 7.25. Thar dark bow with dragon arrows is not worse dps than the msb with bronze lol.

Are you sure you're not forgetting that the dark bow fires 2 arrows at a time? It fires 2 arrows every 8 ticks, so one arrow per 4 ticks while the msb does one every 3 ticks. The dark bow has higher accuracy bonus and higher strength bones, so at the very worst, it would be 25% lower dps than the msb when not accounting for overkill damage.
