Reviving the Daniel Morad controversy, I personally believe
Daniel Morad compared iRacing to IRL so I don't think he's lying. With that said, I don't think his judgment about ACC is completely fair. It takes time to set up the sim how you need to and get used to it, and he clearly didn't do that with ACC, while he has more than enough time on iRacing.
Daniel Morad Braking opinion : r/ACCompetizione - Reddit
Jun 1, 2023 · I’m sure many of you will have seen Daniel Morad’s latest video on how close Sims come to replicating real life racing. He discusses different aspects of the car such as handling and braking etc. He mentions in the video that iRacing has 8.5/10 accurate braking feel and then goes on to say ACC has 2/10.
Simucube 2 Pro settings : r/simracing - Reddit
Feb 14, 2024 · Daniel Morads iracing profile allowed me to tweak it to my liking for AMS2 and rF2. I watched all of his vids when he started and knew he was a good insight to getting setup as he uses a SC base as well.
Moradness buyers beware! : r/simracing - Reddit
Morad's gloves are much much thinner than the Alpinestars, which can be a pro or con depending on who you ask. I like a thicker glove but I deal with it because they have my name on them lol. I like a thicker glove but I deal with it because they have my name on them lol.
Great advice from Daniel Morad (IRL IMSA driver) : r/iRacing - Reddit
Aug 9, 2021 · Great advice! Especially the part about the slower class driver being proactive rather than reactive. Small lift when the faster class car goes for the overtake and you lose less time while avoiding 90% of the most common class/class incidents.
Simucube 2 Pro profiles for iRacing : r/simracing - Reddit
Sep 9, 2022 · Daniel Morad (username Moradness) races the Mercedes GT3 in real life and helped in the development of the iRacing version. He has a profile on True Drive which includes some notes about iRacing in-game settings. It's a good starting point, though with high torque activated it's *very* strong but I assume it's accurate.
Daniel Morad first impressions on ACC. : r/simracing - Reddit
Same I saw from real-world LMP3 driver.Daniel, not first and not last said iRacing is better in car behaviour simulation. Not perfect, but better than others. ACC really good racing game, but ACC as simulator can't fight with iRacing.
Interesting take by Daniel Morad on ACC : r/ACCompetizione
David Perel, James Baldwin, and Daniel Morad have some things they agree on and many others they disagree with. That alone should be something we find interesting. My problem with his video is the way he spoke about ACC not really being a sim and is just something fun.
Ir18 FFB : r/iRacing - Reddit
Morad’s settings are tailored to GT3 cars unless he’s got another setup that I didn’t know about. They feel awful in the IR18. I’m running a formula style profile for the IR18 and it has been awesome.
GT3 Driver Reveals The Most Realistic Wheel Settings For Sim Racing
I also sit in a sim rig and don't get g-forces, that isn't true to real life either. I'll allow myself some unrealistic signals coming through the wheel that would in real life come through the chassis (as Morad says numerous times). The artefacts that come with it I can apparently live with. But anyway, I'm happy that Morad made this video.
