Daniel Cantor is an actor, director, educator, and sometimes writer who has worked in theaters across the country, on television, in commercials, independent films, and on the faculty of numerous nationally ranked theater programs.

Daniel Cantor plays all the male roles besides Asher. His segues between the stern, demanding Orthodox father and the completely different artist-mentor Kahn are fascinating and totally believable . . . presented with economy, intelligence and emotional heft.

Daniel Cantor, in additional to being an actor and director, has distinguished himself as acting instructor. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Acting and Directing, and Head of the BFA Performance program at the renowned University of Michigan Department of Theater and Drama in Ann Arbor.

In August, 2022, Daniel joins the original Broadway cast of Tom Stoppard’s Oliver Award winning play, LEOPOLDSTADT, directed by Patrick Marber. Previews begin 9/14/22, and the production opens 10/2/22.
