From Thailand, this mango's name means Black Gold. The fruit stay green at maturity but have a dark yellow/orange flesh which is fiberless, rich and sweet. Though the flavor is of the Thai sort, it has a richer and greater complexity to it than most Thai varieties.

Jun 28, 2021 · TONG DAM OR BLACK GOLD: One of the best tasting Thai mango tried in Thailand. I don't know if anyone grows it here in USA or taste tested it. High Brix, doesn't have floral/honey characteristics like NDM.
