This piece is a Maigon Daga Hippo. Beautiful earthy glaze and wide mouth. Stands 6" at highest point and is 7.5" long. Beautifly mounted on a black marble type rock. Named and signed in gold on the bottom. Daga's animal works are quite sought after so is your chance to get an original that has not been outside his studio. This is signed by Daga.

Aug 13, 2024 · Pottery hippo figure on stone base. Signed Daga on bottom of base. Approximately 6" x 7" x 4 1/2" including base. Very good condition. I've had this for at least 20 years, not sure how much older it is than that.
