Street Outreach - DYCD - NYC.gov
The Street Outreach Program disseminates information about RHY services, provides food, clothing and other resources; makes referrals to other service providers; and transports youth back to their homes or relatives, to crisis shelters, or to other safe locations.

Youth voluntarily enter and leave runaway homeless youth (RHY) programs. Youth are not placed in shelters by the courts, the NYS Department of Social Services (DSS) or by probation proceedings. Contact DYCD to begin the application process.
