Feb 10, 2019 · DX9 vs DX8 Gen 2 Buying Help. Ok so I have been out of hobby for a little while and I need new TX and have been looking at the DX9 and DX8 G2 one of the only things I could find different was DX8 has 6 Full resolution channels and DX9 is 9 full resolution channels.

Feb 28, 2017 · DX8 vs. DX9 I'm a confirmed Spektrum guy currently flying mostly DLG with a first gen DX8. I'm thinking about switching up to a new DX8 or DX9 (gen2), and wonder if there is any overwhelming reason to go with the DX9, especially considering the extra cost.

May 6, 2016 · Physicaly, the DX9 has an extra switch, as well as the two extra digital trim switches on the front (usefull for things like fine tuning pitch or throttle on helis, or adjusting gyro and governer settings) and the two analog rollers on the back, which can also be used as trim, or to control channels.

Dec 4, 2016 · So far, I have been able to set up all my planes on my DX8 even when the manual gives instructions for the Gen2 transmitter. AMain has a DX8 Gen2 listed for $233 less a $15 promotion for a net of $218. Their ad says it includes a Quad Racing Serial Receiver with Diversity which provides a high speed serial data connection with up to 20 channels.

Current price difference is $264 for the DX6 plus battery/charger (not included) and generic Spektrum neck strap (not included) vs. $269 for the DX8 including battery/charger, custom DX8 neck strap and decals, before any discounts. For $5 difference, it's a no brainer.

Feb 16, 2016 · The DX8G2 is pretty much a DX9 with one less channel in a DX7G2 case (with a couple other minor things turned off). The DX7G2 is pretty much a DX6G2 with an extra channel and a knob. Big differences between the two and the DX8G2 is much closer to being a midpoint between the DX6G3 and the DX9 than the DX7G2 is.
