"DS remains a quirky, niche French brand that emerged from under Citroën’s wing a few years ago, but shares parts and engines. So far it has spawned both a small city hatchback and large family SUV, but this family hatchback, the updated DS4, feels the best resolved yet.

DS 4 is available with two different types of hybrid powertrain. With its Plug-in Hybrid powertrain, DS 4 combines low emissions with low fuel consumption: from 32 g/km of CO₂ and 181 MPG. You also benefit from the power of a 225 hp engine and a 100% electric range of up to 41.6 miles (WLTP combined cycle).

The all-new DS4 is available with the E-TENSE 225 plug-in hybrid powertrain with CO 2 emissions as low as 34g/km (WLTP). The DS4 will also be offered with a choice of three advanced PureTech petrol engines, a PureTech130, PureTech180 and PureTech225, and a frugal BlueHDi 130 diesel.
