DK Barrels (alternatively spelled DK barrels), also named Buddy Barrels or Kong Barrels, are a type of barrel appearing in nearly every level of the Donkey Kong Country series and Donkey Kong Land series. They are identifiable from the red-and-yellow "DK" letters on their sides.

A DK Barrel is a very common barrel that you will find in all of the Donkey Kong Country games, as well as many other recent DK games. Breaking one will release a defeated Kong that is no longer with you, making them playable again.
