May 28, 2015 · Is there such a thing as a DIY piston/booster/Nielsen device? I'm interested in how they work, but also perhaps building one myself. From what I understand of them, the concept is simple enough. Any thoughts?

Nov 17, 2019 · Vent the spring chamber forward or let the gas travel back through the piston ports and then forward down the bore. Not sure what would be better but pretty much every booster I've ever seen has porting to allow gas to travel forward out of the spring chamber.

Sep 1, 2013 · Probably already answered, but I use the spring/Nielsen device with my USP's shooting suppressed since it's a Browning tilting barrel action and I swap out the Nielsen and use a fixed-barrel spacer to shoot with my USC/UMP conversion as it uses a fixed barrel.
