Each of the mains consist of input gain, delay and system eq set all as stereo pair, the super high channel with another parametric eq , delay, fir filter, limiter, gain.

Jan 12, 2011 · Certainly you could use BMS’s crossover for the 4594 and make the box 2-way. That way you could use it with a 4 channel DSP amp. For “throw and go” applications I think it would be easier to build a version to take a Powersoft amp/DSP module. BTW thanks for the Pdf, I had never heard of Seeburg, they have some interesting speakers.

Jan 10, 2011 · BMS however make a nice simple passive crossover for the HF/VHF. The drivers all have excellent frequency responses and need very little DSP correction. The mid horn has a peak at around 400Hz and needs a little boost at 85Hz; provided you don't want to make square waves I think you will get away with a simple three way DSP crossover.

Apr 12, 2013 · The dsp in the M50Q has sufficient all-pass filters to flatten the phase of a 2nd order passive x-over. There will be even enough eq to flatten the amplitude response as well. So, you only need to make sure that the x-over is ok-ish: it does not need to be perfect.

This is a 3 way/2 way active top that sounds fantastic and goes very loud. They are about 35kg, so is manageable by one person.

Dec 1, 2014 · The top plot is with 2 x RCF 12N405 (1000w) and the bottom with 12N351 (650w). The plots are at maximum power. The DIY uses the 12N351 to minimise the weight - 3.3Kg saving per driver. As you can see the DIY has a 2 – 3 dB advantage in the low-mid according to the sim … but that of course is not the real world.
