My concern is the braceing. looking to use 1/4 inch steel angle iron as the structural frame for the sectional barge. My linkbelt machine weights 27000lbs and the oter equipemnt totals 5000 lbs.. barge needs to support weight and be used as a strong work platform.

Pipe laying barge normally has a pipe carrying material barge alongside spudded side, stacked with pipe.
