In this paper, we present three types of DGS units which are triangular2head (TH), rectangular2head (RH) and U2shape (US) and their characteristics are compared each other. Further, these DGS units are employed in the design of low2pass filters (LPF) and band2pass filters (BPF) and the obtained performances of each are examined.
