I personally thought it was a pretty good product. Installation was fairly simple, we had a couple areas we had to be a little creative to make it work.

Apr 14, 2010 · Re: Dek-Drain I priced out EPDM and for 1000 SF it comes to about $600 for the membrane. I was thinking about that, but the client wanted Dek-Drain and they are offering a transferable warranty so I'll do it for the next one I think.

Jun 24, 2011 · Re: dek drain AFAIK, Vycor is not supposed to be used with either EPDM or softened PVC (such as shower liner). Is that shower liner membrane OK with the light coming through between the deck boards?

If all a customer wants is to be dry under their deck then use metal roofing, it looks as good as any of those plastic gutters & a lot less $. If they want high end finished look go with torch down. Feb 19, 2009 · i used dek-drain on two different decks last year and it worked great. It is a top mount system, which seems the most logical to me--catch the water from the top instead of drying to divert it on the bottom side. i also used underdeck last fall. this seemed to work fairly well also.

Jul 1, 2010 · Then buy it once and make copies :laughing: I read the article in PDB magazine years ago and then looked it back up recently and started using the epdm.
