Best 2133MHz DDR4 RAM - Tom's Hardware Forum
Apr 12, 2016 · From a specs/technical standpoint, it narrows down to the CL 13 sets. Though you won't 'see' much of any difference, possibly if using the iGPU, though if doing that would I'd want more DRAM as the iGPU will be using a chunk of the 8GB. Also note that for DDR4, 2133 is the entry level, data rate wise.
32GB DDR3 1866 vs 16GB DDR4 2133 | Tom's Hardware Forum
Sep 20, 2016 · FOr overall system performance I'd go the 32GB over 16GB -1866 vs 2133 isn't that big of a difference and the CL on DDR4 tends to run higher than DDR3 which can further negate the difference of the wider bandwidth. It will of course depend on what you are doing, the 1866 will perform better in some things while the 2133 will be better in others

[SOLVED] 3200mhz shows up as 2133 - Tom's Hardware Forum
Jan 10, 2019 · The place where you select XMP should be pretty close to where you set the memory. XMP profiles are a collection of timings, speed, and voltages, setting all those values for you. 3200 will almost certainly require different voltage and timings, so just select the XMP profile you want (there are normally at least two...one for "standard" speed and one for the full 3200 …
ddr4 2133 mhz vs 2400 - Tom's Hardware Forum
Aug 31, 2016 · The DDR4 standard is 2133MHz, every other higher than that is just factory overcloked. The difference in speed between them is hardly noticeable, specially for gaming. It was not a big mistake, but you could buy the other one for just 10$ more, although no game uses that speed at all.
DDR3L 1600MHz vs DDR 4 2133MHz - Tom's Hardware Forum

Sep 23, 2015 · Nothing mentioned about a gaming rig here, or DRAM being any kind of factor in anything, just wanting basic 2133 at the lowest possible timings. Lower timings will perform faster at a given bandwidth, but then again a higher timing on a wider bandwidth will outperform the lower data rate with tighter timings, i.e. 1600/7 easily is outperformed ...
