Oct 8, 2016 · There are two builds I’d like to discuss for the Abomination: the Shackled Lurker and the Beast Unleashed. First, the SHACKLED LURKER. This is a tank build that makes full use of the Abomination’s excellent defensive stats and human form abilities, transforming only rarely to take kills or set up heals.

Abom is what I like to put on a boss-killing team or in a long dungeon. He's the rare hero that is good for quick burst damage and for long, drawn-out fights. He's so versatile, I never built around him so much as I built a solid core with good reach, then stuck him in.

Jul 5, 2021 · The Abom is great during stall/recovery (contributing either a stun or self-sustain) as well as during the initial rounds of a fight (contributing tempo damage, shuffling back your team into position if need be, decent 2-3 blight damage and the stun for control).

TLDR, the Abom has countless composition options due to him being a fast stunner and burst-damage dealer, which is good for mostly any group. Again, compliment the Abom's stun potential with heroes that can either capitalize on it, enforce it, or destroy the back-rank.

Oct 11, 2024 · Gotta be honest - Abom is a lackluster in Human Form. He's great in Beast Form tho. Chop that can deal with rank 3 (Rage), good burst damage (Rake) and good disruption tool (Slam).
