Aug 4, 2010 · Apparently not all saiyans have the exact hair color in the anime. Vegeta is brownish comparable to Goku. However it's not so noticeable because of the quality of the old anime image. I also believe the brown color is partially a left-over of the color scheme primarily given to Vegeta before he landed on Earth.
