Dec 7, 2023 · My D7E (sn 48A1697) has the fixed drawbar and I would like to put a winch on it to do some minor logging. I found a Hyster D7H winch with a logging arch but I'm not sure if its direct drive or hydraulic control.

Jan 15, 2025 · I got it inside 5 days ago with a little heat and the ice finally all melted out. Cold here in Northern Maine. Eng. will only run about 30-50 seconds and loads down a quits with lots of black smoke. Right side clutch drum in winch looks like it has been hot, probably run without proper lubrication. Seems to turn OK when cold.
