The Class D51 (D51形) is a type of 2-8-2 steam locomotive operated by the Japanese Government Railways (JGR) and later by the Japanese National Railways (JNR).

They called "DEGOICHI" with the most famous stearm locomotive in japan. they was manufactured 1184 locomotive by Japan National railway (JN.) in 1935-1950. 32 D51 went to TWIWAN in 1934-44. They used TAIWAN railway call type " DT650". (DT668 was repaired in 2011!)
