May 28, 2011 · You have to be really, really careful with the D40 when monitoring the fuel rail pressures closely. If you can monitor the pressures at half-second intervals or better, you WILL see variations even in a perfectly running engine. What's happening is the ECU is enriching the mix a fraction, then leaning it off for the next cycle.
