In June 2019, a 4chan user created a pseudoscientific "eye caste system" based on the chart, which went viral on iFunny in February 2021 where it inspired memes and parodies.

Feb 2, 2022 · In the books there are a few passages that say it’s not about color, but actual lightness/ darkness. In addition to T17, T20, T30, T40 and T50, I think D10, D20, D40, A60, C20, C40 might all be dark eyes. Maybe a couple of the other ones too.
