DG, or decomposed granite, is a granular stone surfacing material that consists of particle sizes ranging from 3/8″ maximum down to very fine rock dust particles. It is similar to small gravel, but contains more “fines” or rock dust.

Decomposed granite (DG) is a naturally ocurring material (unlike the crusher fines) consisting of varying size particles and has very good compression. Our DG is a light cream/off-white color.
