These historical or semi-historical tanks are usually called sets, and are made out of the parts that would make the tank in real life. For example, if a person wants to make a T-34-85, they would take the T-34 hull, the T-34-85 Turret, and the 85mm ZIS-S cannon. Some sets are quite effective, while others are redundant or useless.

The 85mm ZIS-S or more specifically the ZiS-S-53 is a tank gun that originated from an 85 mm M1939 (52-K) Soviet anti-aircraft gun that was redesigned to fit inside a T-34/85 turret. During the second world war it was common for anti-aircraft guns to also have anti-tank capabilities to take out enemy armour should they appear.

Apr 23, 2020 · It was from the m-60 HVMS (an m4 with a 60mm gun) that was used in the Chilean army. According to Tank Encyclopedia the 60mm gun was developed both by Israeli Military Industries and OTO-Melara. The gun was designed to be light while still being powerful enough to penetrate MBT armour (at the time).
