As a fitting ode to the end of summer, CubaDupa is all about communal joy as familiar city streets are transformed into a vibrant celebration. Every corner of the Cuba Quarter will transform into a playground. We welcome you to a world of art and culture lurking right here in Pōneke.
FAQ – CubaDupa
The Cuba Precinct is a liquor ban zone, and regular rules and fines apply. You can however purchase and consume alcohol at any of our designated outdoor licensed areas through the festival zone. Can I bring food?
CubaDupa – CubaDupa
CubaDupa is a free, family-friendly event boasting two days of programmed entertainment throughout Cuba Street and it’s neighbouring roads. Music, art, parades, dance, body paint, cultural experiences… there’s always something to enjoy!
Getting Here – CubaDupa
CubaDupa is held in a completely pedestrianised Cuba Quarter, in Wellington, NZ. There are no festival gates – just head down to Cuba Street and you’ll find us! If you’re a local just head on down to the Cuba Quarter in the centre of Te Aro.
