Sep 6, 2012 · In your loadpoint bin directory for Creo Elements/Pro, you should see prodbatch.bat. This file will launch Distributerd Pro/BATCH. I have to see where this has been moved to for Creo. In order to figure out the exact steps to get it working, I'm downloading the entire Creo Elements Pro/5 and Creo 2.0 installation files again.

Feb 27, 2015 · All you need to do is drag-n-drop the file into the Creo graphics window or just use File, Open and change the Type to All Files. It looks like you do not have the required license to edit Faceted Geometry in the Student Edition of Creo. That said, it looks like all you will able to do with the file is open it, view it and save it in other formats.

Jan 24, 2017 · Is there a good, current source for downloading Creo Material files? I am looking for commonly used metals and plastics. It seems crazy that every individual or organization has to create their own material library. I'm assuming this has been done many times, but cannot find a definitive source online. -Scott

Oct 26, 2015 · Since Creo Parametric 3.0 you can use the config.pro option "save_file_iterations" set to "no" to prevent versioning (only for new files, see CS165325) Keep in mind older file versions may act as Backup if latest version gets corrupted before you purge

Jan 23, 2017 · No files what so ever. That is why I tell my users at the very least they need to check in at the end of every day. They don't always listen but that is what I tell them they need to follow. And if you need to have an iteration for every save then check the files in after each save. I believe in Creo there is a Save and Check In option.

Jul 18, 2019 · recent file names are saved in Windows Registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PTC\Creo_Parametric folder in values named RecentFile0, RecentFile1, ... In my case (Creo 2.0) the last value was named RecentFile29. I created clean_recent_files.bat file - see below

Aug 13, 2015 · I was just wondering where people go to download part files. I find it really useful for proprietary parts and for complex models a good way to see how complex parts are built up. I have found GrabCAD, but this covers all CAD systems and doesn't tell me if the files have been created on a professional Creo license or a student copy.

May 11, 2016 · If Creo keeps track internally where the files are, if I move one it'll be lost. I also won't know what file it will find until after I open the assy and do some digging to see where it came from. If a save as operation puts a copy of a part in a new place with the assy opened and the assy gets saved, it may now be referencing the other version ...

Dec 19, 2014 · Large PDF files were from shaded robot assembly drawings with muliple views and sheets. These worked best to communicate design concepts, but files are too large to email to a teacher to print. I think the individual part drawing PDF's were much more reasonable in size. I just know from experience at work the stock Creo PDF writer makes big files.
