The Board of Supervisors is the governing body for Kings County and many county special districts. Each of the five members of the Board is elected on a non-partisan basis to a four-year term. Their terms overlap: two are elected during presidential election years and three during state general election years.

At the December 14, 2021 redistricting hearing, the Board voted to adopt Public Map 120 as the new Board of Supervisor district boundary map. The map was adopted by resolution following the Board’s vote. Read the resolution and view the new map below.

The County of Kings is asking for your help to plan and draw new County districts. The finalized maps that you will help us create will define the five Kings County district borders and these new districts will impact how you elect your Supervisors for the next 10 years.
