Dec 17, 2022 · The reviewer first pointed his Corsair PSU fan (photo) outward to the front mesh ,but then the AP201 cable plug could not fit into the PSU. See the middle prong: the Corsair PSU middle prong pointed out to the side panel, while the AP201 receptacle middle prong faced inward. He then flipped the PSU, so the PSU fan pointed into the case.

Nov 16, 2022 · I believe this new Corsair PSU started life as the Corsair CS750 80+ Gold Fully Modular Power Supply. Corsair must have recognized they made a mistake with naming this new power supply and bumped it up to the RM line where it belonged in the first place.

Corsair Type 3 cables work in corsair type 4 psu's (there was a post by jonnyguru about this, but his site has gone offline). From the top of my head, older Cooler Master units are also compatible with Seasonic.

Jul 2, 2023 · VS Corsair rm (or rmx, really depends when they restock, since on amazon they are 20 euro more and I'm not sure if the 10 yr warranty applies) (again, 750W variant) I was looking at this PSU tier list (A tier; ik ik, B or C tier are still good) and these 2 above seems to be the only one in my price range.

Neither of them is really better than the other. PSU's quality usually varies between different specific models, not brand names, especially for brands that don't actually make PSU but sell rebranded ones from OEM, like Corsair and EVGA. $200 is plenty for a PSU, so don't have to worry much about quality of PSU in that price range.
