Jul 3, 2023 · Separate the 4 wire electricalal connector at fan shroud assembly. Connect jumper wire from battery positive terminal to pin #1, fan shroud assembly side of wiring. Connect jumper wire ito pin #2 and pin #4 at fan shroud assembly side of wiring connector in turn. You should hear and feel the relays click.

Sep 12, 2022 · It may have some air, instead of 100% refrigerant in the system. The A/C system is a closed system, if you had to add refrigerant, you have a leak. The leak must be found & fixed first & the cooling fan must work. The compressor can compress 'air', but the high side pressure can skyrocket (especially if the condenser/radiator fan isn't working).

Jun 27, 2021 · The air conditioning system is designed such that the radiator cooling fan will not engage until compressor discharge pressure reaches 280 - 320 psi. Depending upon ambient temperature and if the vehicle is in full sunlight it might take several minutes for the system to reach that pressure from initial start up. Is the A/C compressor engaging?

May 20, 2018 · The cooling fan issue was diagnosed as a inoperable low speed fan relay. It required the replacement of the entire fan assembly. Unfortunately, the car is out of the 3yr/36,000mi warranty so I had to eat the cost but at least it's fixed.
