Glass is bad on Commando because you have no really reliable way to avoid damage, and most of your damage comes from procs. Losing OSP is too costly for Commando. Huntress has phase blink, Merc has eviscerate, blink, etc. Commando has one movement ability with no I-frames and no natural defense. It’s just not recommended.

Dec 21, 2021 · With commando, you want to prioritise proc items like atgs and bleed since he has the most consistent primary of all characters. For mobility, he has the dive/slide, and I find that to be good enough at dodging and getting around the map at first, although a wax quail and the usual mobility items always help.

Aug 4, 2020 · Bleed is actually very good on the commando as he can stack it very reliably. It is absolutely amazing on the first loop and change. It melts bosses and high HP enemies. Don't turn your nose up at it. Consistently stacking bleed is better on the commando in the early game than like 3 or 4 crit glasses. The commando's basic kit lacks AOE.
