I recently switched to the Comet GP-9N to try and improve fringe repeater signal strength and increase UHF performance. The old X300 tip was at near the top of most trees around my home. I was hoping the extra 6 feet of length above the tree line (with another 5/8 wave stacked element) would have a marked performance increase.
