The Lexington County Blowfish are a four-time CPL Organization of the Year and a proud member of the Coastal Plain League. The summer collegiate team began play in 2006 and won the 2012 and 2023 CPL Championships.

In the fall of 2014 the Blowfish crossed the river from Columbia to Lexington County (a hotbed for youth baseball), and to their new home-Lexington County Baseball Stadium.

The stadium is the home of the Lexington County Blowfish (formerly Columbia Blowfish), which is a collegiate summer league team playing in the Coastal Plain League. Fifteen teams in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Lexington County Baseball Stadium home to the Blowfish is located at 474 Ball Park Rd. Lexington, SC 29072.

Blowfish Baseball owners Vicki and Bill Shanahan, along with a sellout crowd of over 18,000, got a chance to enjoy the Hootie and the Blowfish Summer Camp with Trucks Tour Friday night at the Colonial Life Arena.
