The Colt Model 1900 is a short-recoil operated "self-loading", or semi-automatic .38 caliber handgun introduced by Colt's Manufacturing Company at the turn of the 20th century.

The Colt New Service is a large frame, large caliber, double-action revolver made by Colt from 1898 until 1941. Made in various calibers, the .45 Colt version with a 5½" barrel, was adopted by the U.S. Armed Forces as the Model 1909.

Here we present a C&R Colt New Pocket Model Double Action Revolver, made in 1899 by the Colt Manufacturing Company with a production run from 1893 through 1905 in Hartford, Connecticut. The New Pocket followed the introduction of Colt's first large frame Double Action revolvers known as the Model 1889 Navy and Model 1892 New Army and Navy.

Jan 8, 2025 · I recently acquired a very nice Colt SAA, SN 191xxx, made in 1899, and I'm trying to understand its composition. Along with having been refinished, I did some online research on its parts.

Produced in 1899 and subsequently embellished by an unknown artisan, chambered for the 41 caliber Long Colt Cartridge. This cartridge specific to Colt revolvers of both single action and double action design. Believed to have been sold 7/7/1899 and shipped to Simmons Hardware Company in St. Louis.

Our Assessment: Colt’s Single Action Army revolver is the iconic sidearm of the cowboy, lawman, and outlaw. This example is a 1st Generation SAA made in 1899.

1/27/22 - This is a nice example of a Colt Single Action Army Revolver manufactured. It is chambered in .45 Colt and has a 7.5 inch barrel. It is all matching and has retained roughly half of its original finish.
