May 22, 2014 · Cold Steel hands down. I actually believe in the hardwoods, there is a big case to be made to carry it in summer as opposed to a machete or hawk on a baldric or mounted to pack. Outside the box, it is a multi use woods tool. Not just a shovel. Im planning on doing some stuff with mine to show its merits as soon as I can get a Baldric built for it.
