Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy (8 July 1949 – 2 September 2009), popularly known as YSR, was an Indian politician. He served as the 14th chief minister of Andhra Pradesh from 2004 to 2009.

Yeduguri Sandinti Jagan Mohan Reddy (born 21 December 1972), also known mononymously as Jagan, is an Indian politician, currently serving as the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing Pulivendula Assembly constituency in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative assembly.

The First Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ministry (or also known as 22nd ministry of Andhra Pradesh) of the state of Andhra Pradesh was formed on 14 May 2004 headed by Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy as the Chief Minister following the 2004 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. [1] 24 member ministry was formed on 22 May 2004. [2]

In spite of all other political parties forming a unified opposition in Andhra Pradesh during the 2009 CM elections, Y S R won with a majority. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy became the Chief Minister for a consecutive term, the only person to have achieved the feat after serving a full five year term.
