Climbey, To the top and InDeath are probably three titles I miss most from the PCVR world (apart from the ones that never had a chance to run on Quest, like The forest or NoMansSky). If the Climbey can make it to the Quest, maybe ToTheTop can also be released, as developers had a fully working version already there.

At the Discovety Center that I work, kids LOVE Climbey (especially in multi-player), but kids have difficulties with a few things: Reaching the level selection buttons and how level selection works Seeing their character in the mirror Joining their friends in multiplayer on our LAN VR PC's

Basically Climbey is a mechanically sound and most importantly, FUN game. Climbey allowed people to play thousands of user and developer created parkour maps with multiple people per room. Many a friend was made on PC version where people helped eachother learn how to properly speed through maps.

Than, in the main menu of Climbey you choose the maps you want by pressing them and the list of the maps will be shown on the display above the table where you select them. Just played the vanilla maps and one user generated maps called Vertigo (I think)

Is this a Climbey-like implementation? Like, can I use one hand and throw myself off a wall I'm holding? Can I pre-grab a surface, like say I'm falling towards a wall, I don't have to think about timing the grab, I just press and hold and as long as my controller touches the surface, I've grabbed it. Also does the jumping act like Climbey?

Mar 25, 2022 · Yes, this is a hacked version of the Quest Climbey demo that allows you to add custom levels. There was already something like that when someone modified the demo and integrated custom levels. This is by no means the full version, as there are no multiplayer functions, as far as I know.
