what is better a GR III With a cinebloom filter or a GR III HDF?
I have 20% cinebloom attached to my gr iii, but I don’t have the hdf version, but so far I’m fine with the results, but the only downside is that the adapter adds bulk to the camera, I’d say that it you don’t have any gr and like the dreamy photos go for the hdf version, but if you have the gr, get an adapter an the 20% cinebloom, I have the 10% one, but the effect is very subtle
Cinebloom 10% vs GlimmerGlass 1? : r/fujifilm - Reddit
Aug 31, 2021 · The cinebloom 20% also seems to give a warmer color shift, not something I want out of my diffusion filter. I would say from least subtle to most subtle would be cinebloom, bpm, glimmerglass. Sometimes if I want more halation I’ll just stack my bpm 1/4 on top of my glimmerglass 1.
Black Pro Mist or Cinebloom? : r/fujifilm - Reddit
The Cinebloom adds more of a slight fog over the image, while obviously diffusing the highlights, etc. the black pro mist has a fog still, but it is DRAMATICALLY less, more of a highlight bloomer while keeping shadows
r/fujifilm on Reddit: Does anyone have a Cinebloom filter and a ...
Jan 21, 2021 · I have an X100V and a MkII Square Hood and much to my disappointment, it does not fit on the the 49mm Cinebloom. Luckily, I have a Fujifilm UV filter that can be threaded on top of the Cinebloom, then I can attach the Square Hood, but it makes my lens too long for my case. I might sell my Square Hood 😕

Moment CineBloom 20% vs Tiffen Black Pro Mist 1/4 Comparison
Oct 5, 2020 · Glad it could be of use! It does suck tho about the shipping fees tho. After shooting this video I was also wondering if the 10% and 1/4 would be a closer comparison. On the video on YouTube, Moment actually stated in a comment “CineBloom 20% is actually closer to the Pro Mist 1 and our 10% is close to the Pro Mist 1/2” which kinda blew my ...
Black Pro Mist or CineBloom : r/bmpcc - Reddit
Jul 4, 2021 · Both 20%, the cinebloom is my usual go to but I think if shooting indoors, the look is a little too intense. Especially in back lit indoors scenarios. So, if you’re mainly shooting outdoors, I would say cinebloom.

Tiffen Black Pro Mist 1/4 or Cinebloom 10 for Japan? : r/x100v
Dec 30, 2023 · I personally found the Cinebloom 10% effect to be too strong. It cut the contrast a little too much for my own liking. I haven't tried any of the Tiffen BPM filters but I do have experience with their Glimmerglass line. The GG1 adds nice halation to the highlights without sacrificing much contrast or detail (if at all).
