It is not a standard Cat6 or Cat5e cable, I have tried both. Edot: it is the broadband cord, but I can't find what the connection is called.

Aug 26, 2020 · It's Ethernet cable (cat5e) which is four pairs but they are only using two pair hence four contacts in a thin telephone jack. This could probably be replaced by calling electronic supply stores, ask for ADSL phone cable, make sure it has four contacts, not two and not eight.

Unless the customer's dog chewed up multiple cables, or even worse a super-wonky installation was done (e.g. infrastructure not run through conduit or a patch cord acting as patch and infrastructure) an average customer should be able to replace the fiber cable just as capably as they could copper.
