PC gamers will be expected to wait and buy old PS5 Pro games at full price. The elevator pitch is real. PS5 Pro is the only recommendable hardware until Switch 2 comes out.

I'm not if there's any truth to it so I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with doing it and could give me some advice.

Mar 14, 2023 · Ray-Tracing is the future especially developers don't want to spend time on baking in lighting + shadows. That's part of the reason for the PS5 Pro. If people don't want longer and longer dev cycles something will have to give one way or the other. Those games would still need to be developed...

Oct 3, 2024 · For the hours (years) of enjoyment provided, even getting a LG OLED and a PS5 Pro (Around $2K total) is super cheap compared to alot of hobbies. Only hobby I have cheaper than that, besides Gaf, Netflix or reading, is resistance training at a local community rec center (gym membership is around $360 a year).

Sep 9, 2024 · I think they had to, they weren't selling 35k to the Japanese market, people from other regions were abusing the weak Yen to get cheap PS5's for their countries. They probably saw how dire the Japanese market was for them and figured cutting it off was "better" for them, than not selling that same PS5 in more expensive regions.

Nov 24, 2023 · After three PS5 Slims with loud fans going on and off, I'm happy to say that I finally won the fan lottery. Bought a fourth PS5 Slim on a whim yesterday at Best Buy and it's whisper quiet even when playing taxing games like Spiderman 2. I no longer hear the fans spinning up and down when opening and closing games. About fucking time.

Feb 28, 2021 · Does anyone have any case suggestions for transporting the PS5? It can be a hard case, backpack, soft shell case. Amazon is loaded with junk that won't work or is poorly designed. I feel like generally by now we've seen something officially licensed.
