A Cham rune is a high rune which can be socketed into equipment in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. The few rune words using Cham are not particularly popular, but Cham runes remain valuable for their Cannot Be Frozen property, and for their rarity as a rune, second only to Zod.

Dec 25, 2022 · Cham good for shako too iirc. Use it for cannot be frozen in head-slot socket and drop the raven frost to unlock a ring of your choice. You can also trade it, but it’s not a super used rune and it‘s worth a Ohm or Lo/Sur if you find the right guy. Shako for Hdin, Areats for Bezerk/ GF Babar and maybe the new runewords.

Physical damage characters can stick a Cham into a socketed Guillaume's Face or Crown of Ages, for example, to avoid using Raven Frost and thereby free up a ring slot. Extremely rare, Cham rune may become valuable once new ladder runewords are released after the 2.4 patch.

The only two significant uses for Cham in Single Player that I know of: Socketed into a Harlequins Crest Shako to be used on a Pitzerker. Pitzerkers want CBF but shouldn't wear Ravenfrost since the cold damage will shatter corpses and you can't use Find Item then. Save it and hope for another so you can cube a Zod rune for some purpose.

Feb 16, 2023 · Cham is a Rune in Diablo 2. Cham can be applied to Socketed Items, by doing so it grants said item different properties depending on if the Socketed Item is a Weapon or a piece of Armor. Runes can also be used in some Horadric Cube's recipes.

Mar 7, 2011 · Here are the Cham attributes: Armor/Helm/Shield: Can not be frozen. Look at the rune list for information on how to get the right runes. For weapons you'll want to find the best type of weapon possible, since that's what the bonus damage is based on. Same with Armor if you are after Defense and shields for blocking percentage.
