Cenarius lies unwaking at the Grove of Cenarius in Val'sharah, afflicted by the Emerald Nightmare. The Tears of Elune can save him, but they are stolen from the nearby temple by Xavius before they can be used.

Cenarius is the Lord of the Forest and patron god of all druids except for Zandalari and Kul-tiran druids (along with Elune and Ysera, his mothers, for the night elf druids).

Cenarius is the sixth boss of the raid, and is found in the Tormented Guardians wing in the Emerald Nightmare Raid Finder. Defeating Cenarius is also required for the Herbalism quest The Emerald Nightmare: Felwort Mastery.
