Thanks to all for your comments. I tried hooking leads to the two shoes and got response. Then I placed the car on a standard control track and pressed the unload button and got response. I must now see what went wrong in my setup that it works for the corall but not the car.

May 25, 2021 · Purchased cattle car recently & can’t get sound to operate with 9 volt battery. However when using the power supply lead plugged into the power socket of the locomotive- it operates with sound. Looking for suggestions to correct this issue. Tried different batteries & locomotives already. Pictures enclosed. Thanks in advance for any help.

Aug 23, 2019 · This basically means that prior to 1906 the car was actually called a stock car, and after 1906 the car would have been named by whatever cargo the car was hauling, ie cattle car etc. The biggest hardship was not in the cost of so many different rail cars, but in the fact that these cars spent half of their time being pulled empty.

Nov 23, 2019 · My modern cattle loader has the cattle with the felt-like base. They don't seem to want to cooperate with the system. They move out of the cattle car fairly well and partially down the ramp in the coral, but at the turns they just stall. Higher voltage doesn't help. I know that post-warcattle had rubber fingers on the base.

Do the corral ramps come down flush with the car ramps? It looks like the corral ramp travel puts the corral ramp to low. Adjust the plunger arm to ensure that car ramp and corral ramp are level with each other. The gap between the car ramp and the corral ramp looks fine. It is a tough accessory to tweak out.
