Apr 20, 2008 · It is a 2005 Beaver Monterey (40' motorhome). There is not a factory authorized option to go above 400 HP. That is the RV/Fire Truck rating on that engine. You've got over 1000 lb-ft of torque available at all RPMs between 1200 and 2100! Peak Torque is 1,092 lb-ft at 1400 rpm. How much more could you need in a 40' motorhome?

Aug 9, 2015 · My 2008 Contessa Pacifica window sticker says 400hp. The owners manual and most dealers advertising this model say 425hp. I know the torque is the most important number, but I am very curious as to which HP my Cat puts out, and why the discrepancy between the manual and the sticker?
