My car got broken into while parked at my apartment complex. Can i claim this with the apartment complex and let them take responsibility for it? My apartment is a "gated community " . The night that my car got broken into, the gate was OPENED.

In the lease it states they have no insurance for theft, but when reading other situations in regard to a gated community it seems that the complex is still responsible by law.
