Feb 4, 2025 · Princess offers longer cruises which appeal to retired folks. The longer cruises trend older. Princess has limited 3 and 4 day cruises which attract a younger, party crowd. I'd give the 7 day Princess a try and please report back your experience.

Oct 31, 2024 · Similar situation here, though not quite at that price point. I am hopeful that at some point before I'm too old to cruise LOL! the stock prices will get back up to that price. Even though I don't sail Celebrity often, preferring Princess, I'm kicking myself for not buying Royal stock when it was a meager $24/share in 2020.

Oct 18, 2019 · Princess will have much more low key events. Carnival events are geared more for the passengers who want a party. Princess events are geared more for the knitter and knatter crowd. Sure they both have over priced bingo, along with trivia, and music. While princess uses an orchestra and carnival a soundtrack, theater entertainment on both is good.

Sep 29, 2022 · Princess a lot quieter. Carnival more choices of specialty food venues. Guys Burgers have at least 100% of daily sodium intake. As far as I know, no big fights on Princess. Enjoy Carnival, when with our kids and grandkids, Princess when we go alone to relax.

Aug 16, 2018 · Carnival Corporation & Plc owns the cruise lines. Carnival Cruise Lines is only one of several owned by Carnival Corporation. It does not own Princess or any other cruise line. Only P&O and Princess have any reciprocal loyalty recognition and that’s because P&O owned Princess before being bought by Carnival Corporation.

Dec 13, 2023 · Other than that the only things I would say Carnival beats Princess on are comedy shows, alchemy bar, and included fast food lunch options. I like Princess' pizza better but they make big ones and if the demand isn't high, the ones they're serving won't be fresh.

Jun 8, 2015 · Princess Cruise Line is owned by Carnival Corporation, not Carnival Cruise Line. PCL and CCL are separate entities. Their loyalty programs do not share cruise credits. Carnival Corp has Princess, Carnival, Holland America, P&O, and some other cruise lines under their corporate umbrella but each cruise line is a separate entity.
