Card Symbol: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs In earlier versions of Word I could find the suit symbols for a deck of playing cards so I could insert them into my documents when writing about Poker or Bridge.

I then want to replace the user entry with the correct suit symbol I don't think I want the cell to be a symbol font for I use that cell for further entry

Oct 18, 2016 · I have Word 2016 with Office 365. The card symbols are not in any of the symbol fonts. I have Windows 10. You can find an approximation in the emojis BUT they do not conform to the Word fonts - you have to fiddle with the size. They are also not standard for technical documentation. The colors are lost if you save the document as .pdf.

Hi richbria. The following works in word 2010, I don't think it changed with 2016 type 2660 hold alt key and press x to get :spades:
