Oct 20, 2018 · After successfully securing my Colosseum Underground tickets on the COOP site (thanks Kathy, Donna and all the other wonderful members who virtually talked me through the process!), I started peeking around at other experiences on their site. It seems the forum favorites of Domus Aurea and Baths of Caracalla still have plenty of tickets available.

Jul 19, 2023 · We just got back from German, Austria & Switzerland Tour. I just wanted to pass along a heads up about the Baths of Caracalla's view on appropriate swimsuits. Women are expected to wear a one peace or bikini. My wife had a two piece swimsuit similar to a burkini. It covered over her knees and draped across her middle. She was not allowed to swim.

Apr 5, 2024 · I have been having difficulty with the CoopCulture link for purchasing tickets. I know that this ticket agent is no longer the agent for the Colosseum and that there have been multiple issues obtaining tickets for the Colosseum. I am also having difficulties seeing tickets for Terme di Caracalla past April 30.

Apr 26, 2024 · We had an absolute wonderful time! We would love to go back to Baden Baden and go again. I do believe in challenging myself and trying new things but being without a bathing suit in a public place just doesn’t work for me. Whatever you decide I am sure you will be happy you went to Caracalla Spa such an awesome relaxing place. Enjoy!

May 15, 2015 · Just got back from the Baths of Caracalla. Holy cow! If you want to viscerally experience what the grandeur of ancient Rome must have looked and felt like at its peak, go here. The scale of the place is just mind-boggling. Much more interesting than the Baths of Diocletian.

Mar 12, 2024 · Outdoor Pools at Caracalla Therme in Baden-Baden, Germany. I spent most of my time at Caracalla Therme in the sauna area. This is a coed spa zone, made from a textile-free area with both indoor and outdoor spa and sauna facilities. You can cover yourself with a towel as you walk around the facility, but it neither required nor expected.

Jun 28, 2011 · In the summer of 1955 I saw an outdoor production of Aida at the Baths of Caracalla. I swear it ended with some chariots being pulled onto the stage by several white horses.

Apr 5, 2025 · We'll be in Rome ahead of the tour with time to see some of the sights, but since we're not quite sure of our schedule, we wanted to know if we needed to purchase entrance tickets ahead of time for the following or if we could just "show up": Baths of Caracalla, San Clemente, Baths of Diocletian/Palazzo Massimo, Galleria Doria Pamphilj.
